My Roses I got from Rogue have been so exciting to watch grow. Yes they are small when you get them, thats normal, they are own root roses. Pop them in the ground and watch them grow, and they will outlive a grafted rose by decades. Plus the variety of rare Roses that have gone out of production is just crazy. I got my first order in and immediately placed an order w double the plants. You have gained a forever customer. I feel like people have forgotten that this has been the way to get own root roses for years. Be patient, a tiny twig will turn into an heirloom your family will cherish.

This was my first order from Rogue Valley Roses, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I had been searching for a long time for this specific variety, Bouquet Parfait, and this nursery was recommended to me as a reputable and trustworthy source. Based on that, I placed my first order for three roses. However, when I received the plants, I was honestly shocked. In all the countries I have lived in, I have never received planting material of such poor quality. What I received were extremely small, undeveloped one-year plants β€” essentially just freshly rooted cuttings with a few new leaves. These are not established plants ready for planting in the ground. At this stage, I now have to continue growing them myself until they become strong enough to survive transplanting. In my opinion, it is unacceptable and frankly embarrassing for a nursery to sell plants in this condition. I hope the company will reconsider its quality standards and provide customers with planting material that meets basic expectations.

I had purchased seven bare root roses from two other nurseries this spring and even their smallest rose was ten-times larger than the sick scrawny rose that Rogue Valley Roses sent me. And, not one of those bare root roses died, they’re all blooming and healthy. Rogue Valley Roses rose arrived with a white chalky film all over the leaves and leaves were falling off. I had a fungus on my roses years ago that appeared exactly like this chalky film on this rose. I kept it away from my other roses and removed the dying leaves. I contacted Rogue Valley Roses within two weeks after receiving the rose and I was told that they sprayed their roses before shipping and the film would wash off. Nevertheless the rose died and Rogue Valley Roses would take no responsibility for shipping a tiny diseased ridden rose. Their response was flippant and they insisted that I had to reply the day I’d received the rose. Their policy. Fine. I will take the $51.35 loss, but, I will also warn others that this is an untrustworthy nursery and there are many trustworthy nurseries out there, like Spring Hill and Gurney's nurseries. I have included pictures of the sad little Dolly Parton rose that Rogue Valley Ro

Received 6 own root roses and I was pleasantly surprised! All were healthy and one even had one bloom! My first time ordering roses online and I was a little hesitant and almost canceled but I’m so glad I didn’t! As soon as I received them and saw how they looked I wanted to buy more πŸ˜† in the picture I have one rose on the right from high country which is almost half the size as the one from rogue valley roses.

I ordered the Eden 85 climbing rose in May 2024. I received a very healthy own root rose. She is doing very well and already getting new sprouts. I have her sitting in the spot where she will be planted and she seems to be very happy. I have not planted her yet as our weather this year is hotter than usual. I will wait until the last week of September when temperatures are lower. Her future home receives 3 hours of dappled early morning light and 6 hours of full sun following. She will be in a sheltered spot from high winds. I am watering her 3 times each day with rain water, because of the heat. I will be very careful that her roots do not dry out. She came with two full pages of instructions back and front. I am feeling very confident and am happy with my purchase. Update: I planted Eden on September 1, 2024. The last two pictures are from Tuesday, September 17, and today, Friday, September 20. She appears to be happy. I dug a large 2x2x2 hole. I did not use the soil to fill back in. In the hole, I used Miracle Grow Organic soil 2 bags and topped it with Black Cow 1 bag. I added 1/4 cup Organic Lime and 1/4 cup Organic Bone Meal to each bag of the Miracle Grow Organic soi
